Set with inspiration from popular dungeon games like Diablo, the game appears to have caught the attention of gamers with its beta. However, while playing the game it’s easy to lose track of locations and opportunities. Hopefully, there is a map in the game that shows the various levels of the game. How to Open the Map in Minecraft Dungeons?
Opening the map in Minecraft dungeons is pretty straightforward, you simply have to press on the D-pad and this will reveal a partially-transparent map that shows the various levels of the game. It shows the paths that can lead you to some exciting rewards. However, it does not necessarily take you towards the main story i.e. defeating the main boss.
Unlike some other games map, you do not have to worry about unlocking the Minecraft Dungeons map. You can see the location of the door and the chest as you approach; however, otherwise the map remains invisible until you progress in the game. The map only shows the part which you currently have access to. So, all you see is within reach.
How to Use the Map in Minecraft Dungeons?
You should know that after you have opened the map using the D-pad, there isn’t much you can do such as zoom in or out. As mentioned earlier, you cannot view the entire Minecraft Dungeons map at a time, only the level you have unlocked. The map is pretty fixed and you cannot move around. If you don’t pause the game, the character will still move around.
Once you are done using the map in Minecraft Dungeons, you can close it my pressing on the D-pad again. This will prompt the map to disappear and you can return back to your game.
