Genshin Impact Version 3.1 has many interesting events packed within the grand Weinlesefest Festival of Mondstadt. One of the primary sub-events Of Ballads and Brews is the Charity and Creativity event where the Traveler has to manage a shop and employ business strategies to get the best bang for the buck. The event can feel complicated for those with no business experience or those who are just playing the events casually.
This article will briefly guide players through general tips and tricks and simplify the event for interested players. Without boring you with all the nitty-gritty details, we’ll tell you some general rules of thumb to follow to safely increase your earnings until the required earning thresholds are met.
General Guide to Manage Charity Stall and Charity Alliance in the Weinlesefest Festival of Genshin Impact
After securing enough funds to open the Charity Snack Shop, Bernhard is in charge of managing the main Snack Shop while you’re in charge of employing business stratagems and dealing with unexpected situations and emergencies.
Before each Customer Cycle, you’ll be required to adjust your business stratagems accordingly to invest the minimum amount of funds to meet the required threshold under each target of business. The 3 categories of targets for business are as follows:
- Product Quality: This is the most important of the three categories so make sure to meet this threshold as much as possible without spending too much of your earned funds.
- Efficiency: This refers to the speed and efficiency of the business in your shop and is usually the second-most important category of the three.
- Service: This refers to the customer service quality of your shop and usually holds the third priority of the three categories.
While it isn’t compulsory to meet all 3 targets in every Customer Cycle you need to meet at least two of them to turn a hefty profit. Ideally, make sure you don’t spend more than 60-70% of your available funds per cycle before Opening Shop. According to players, the general lowest you can spend per Customer Cycle, provided you’ve chosen the optimal business stratagems, is about 50% of your available funds.
Some Customer Cycles are harsh and there are even Unexpected Situations to deal with that drastically lower one of the three categories for the next Customer Cycle. Quality Control Margins are special stratagems to deal with such Unexpected Situations.
As players progress, they unlock more business stratagems- allowing them more control over their costs. The Feedback or Giveback section offers players a plethora of buffs and bonuses provided they meet certain business requirements.
Players eventually also unlock assistants who aid them in one of the three target categories in meeting the required threshold. These are usually your in-game Friends who will give you these buffs. Do note that after using an assistant in one Customer Cycle, players can’t use assistants for the next two Customer Cycles.
When you finally earn 100,000 from your Snack Shop, you also unlock two other associate shops that are part of your Charity Alliance. Like Bernhard, these shops will have their own shopkeepers. That said, you can just talk to Bernhard and switch between the tabs on your left to switch between the three different shops under your management.
These shops function the same way as your main Snack Shop and you’ll have to keep playing to unlock the same number of Business Stratagem slots for these alliance shops too. Players will need to wisely allocate their funds between all 3 shops to earn profits. The same rule of thumb follows here too- ideally close to 50% expenditure for each Customer Cycle.
In this stage, it is usually acceptable to not meet one of the 3 Business Targets in each of the shops. It’s still advisable to meet all of one shop’s business targets and as for choosing which one we urge players to play around with the stratagems to find out which shop’s targets is the cheapest to meet.
