This fan-favorite feature is often used by players to inspect their weapon and get a better look at a blueprint or one of the many Mastery Camos that can be unlocked. In Call of Duty titles, Inspect Weapon is a feature that often comes up in the annual release of the franchise. However, for Vanguard, it was missing when the game launched back in November 2021.

Inspect Weapon in Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific

The option of being able to inspect weapons was available in Warzone, but at Vanguard, it might have arrived slightly later than the community had hoped. Despite this, it is expected that players can finally do it in both titles of Call of duty.

While players can inspect their weapons within Warzone, the ability to do so within Vanguard has yet to be added into the game. There is good news, however, as it does look like the ability will be coming soon after the mid-season update went live.

While it might seem rather presumptuous to some, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a new weapon in our hands and being able to inspect it. So here’s a guide on how to inspect weapons in Warzone Pacific and Vanguard.

How to Inspect Weapons in COD Warzone Pacific

The weapon inspection feature that made its Warzone debut all the way back in Season 5 of Modern Warfare involves an incredibly straightforward process and requires little effort.

  • Enter the game Call of Duty: Warzone
  • On PC, hold down the “I” key.
  • On the console, press the left crosshead button.

How to Inspect Weapons in COD Vanguard

Players will have to wait a little longer to inspect their weapons at CoD Vanguard until the devs take action on the matter. Once the feature is added, we expect the process in Vanguard will be exactly the same as it is in Warzone.

However, PC players can follow these steps to change their assigned key to use when the feature is ready.

  • Enter the game Call of Duty: Vanguard
  • Go to settings
  • Open “Keyboard and Mouse”.
  • Select “Combat”.
  • Skim all the actions until you reach “Weapons Inspection”
  • Assign the key you want.

Once the devs fix the weapons inspection and the feature goes live, all that is left is to press it.
