There are a lot of new features in the latest Pokemon game, and you might want to know more about some of them. Some of these will help to make your Pokemon more powerful, such as Hidden Abilities.

With the help of Hidden Abilities, you will be able to give your Pokemon an additional ability that is not normally available to them in the wild. You will need to catch these Pokemon first to give them the ability, which is usually better than the ones you can naturally find them with.
Some Pokemon will benefit greatly from having their Hidden Abilities unlocked, such as Cyclizar. The normal ability is Shed Skin but the hidden ability that it can unlock is Regenerator, which is more powerful and useful in battle.

Use Ability Patches
You can use the items available to you in the game, one of which is an Ability Patch. You can get more of them by completing 6-star and 7-star Tera Raids which spawn in the overworld. Look out for the Tera Crystals if you want to get these items.

Catch Pokemon with a Hidden Ability from a Tera Raid
Fighting Pokemon in Tera Raid Battles will sometimes give you Pokemon with Hidden Abilities, but this is completely random. There is no guarantee for it as these are random drops, but you should be able to collect some Pokemon in this manner by fighting at least 3-Star battles.
