Credits can be obtained by doing tasks in the game that may or may not contribute towards advancement in the main story mission. It gets harder to survive the longer that you’re in Trigon, and Credits can be hard to come by. But there are some easy methods that you can start using early on in the game to get more Credits.
Attacking is your number one priority as it will give you the most Credits. Pirate enemies are easily found in the game which you can attack openly in raiding stations. There are red skulls on your game map which indicate the presence of pirates, which you should approach to take down and earn Credits. Your bounty will be raised when you are attacked as well. It is a good idea to get your bounty to at least 6.0, which will give you access to free weapons from defeating pirate ships.
As you approach the red skulls near the stations, you will notice that they are in clusters that you can follow one after another. Once you are through with all of them, you can sell the weapons to get more Credits, and repeat the red skull run to get more Credits.
