You will be able to find this item only in certain places on the map when you are playing the battle royale game. The first thing that you will need to know if you want to get the Guardian Shield in Fortnite is that it is not a part of the floor loot.
The Guardian Shield can be found in Oathbound Chests, which are containers that spawn only in the areas of the map that are covered with yellow grass. Look out for these locations if you want to get this shield. You can check out POIs such as The Citadel, Anvil Square, and Breakwater Bay.
Once you have acquired the Guardian Shield, you should learn how to use it. There are two methods that you can employ, as you can either throw it on the ground or keep holding it in your hands.
The first method will activate a protective cover around you, giving you time to use items in your inventory such as for the purpose of healing. The shield begins at 2000% Energy and decreases by 1 point per second, so you have limited time to use it.
The second method of holding it in your hand will help you to block the shots. You can activate the shield by pressing the primary fire button. Through this method, you will be able to block up to 1,000 points of damage.
