Pokemon Legends Arceus releases with a bang for the Nintendo Switch platform, along with a horde of new items, quests and Pokémon. As the newest game in the franchise of Pokemon games, it is set in the ancient region of Hisui where Trainers can catch Pokemon while exploring the game map. In addition to the newly introduced Pokemon, players will be able to catch Legendary Pokemon. This guide will take you through the process of catching Giratina in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Where to Find Giratina Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus
Giratina is a Legendary Renegade Pokemon with the ability of Pressure and the hidden ability of Telepathy. As they are Legendary Pokemon, they do not have any evolution, and this is their only form. In the Pokedex of Pokemon Legends Arceus, they are called the ‘deep shadow’ of Hisui.

The first time you see Giratina will be in a Story battle, and you won’t be able to catch them.
To do this, you need to finish the main story of the game first. This includes capturing Palkia and Dialga and collecting all the plates around Hisui region.
Head to the Survey Corps Office and start The Researcher of Myths quest.
Complete the 5 quests given to you to collect all the plates and the Legendary Pokemon.
At the Temple of Sinnoh, you need to fight six Pokemon. On being defeated, they will summon Giratina in their regular form who you need to defeat. This will complete the Story mission.
Heading back to Jubilife Village, you will get On the Trail of Giratina request.
Now you can catch Giratina by going to Turnback Cave in Cobalt Coastlands. Giratina will be waiting to be captured.
Battle it out with Giraltina, preferably with a Legendary Pokemon such as Palkia.
On its defeat, you will have the power to wield Giraltina as well as receive the Griseous Core as a reward.
