How to Get Firefright in Destiny 2
Firefright is the newly introduced legendary Auto-rifle in destiny 2 and is added to the Haunted weapon pool in season 17. This means it can be acquired from pretty much any activity which drops haunted weapons as the drop is random and depends on RNG.
One of the main sources of haunted weapons is the newly introduced Derelict Leviathan, but before you jump into the public events make sure to collect vestiges of dread either through activities or exploring the leviathan and opening chests and completing patrols. With 500 vestiges of dread, you can earn Bound presence in the season of the haunted and use the same during the sever quest to get the weapon.
Players can also get the weapon by focusing umbral engrams after upgrading the H.E.L.M to the crown of sorrow
Once you have extracted 5 deepsight resonance of the weapon, it can be crafted using the relic and can be upgraded further to get the ultimate god roll for either PVP or PVE.
