Dinkum is a fun farming game that is created singlehandedly by the Australian developer James Bendon. You will be able to make your farm from scratch and decorate your island, but that’s not all. There are a lot of items that you can collect in this open-world game with a randomly generated map. Monsters will be attacking you, so be careful as you roam the land of Dinkum. However, there are some animals that are meant to be prey. This guide will take you through the process of how to get feather in Dinkum.
Where to Find Feather in Dinkum
There are a lot of items that you can collect in Dinkum, through methods such as foraging, hunting or mining. These are all skills that you can hone. The more you train yourself for a particular skill, the better equipment you can unlock for it at Fletch’s tent. You can purchase Licenses for these skills with the help of Permit Points.

Feather is an object which you will need later in the game. There are some recipes which need feathers, such as the Bone Arrow. To get a feather, you will need to kill an animal. A hunting license is needed for this so that you can craft a handy spear or bat. Once you have your weapon, you can set out to kill the creature.
You will need to kill something quite harmless – a turkey. Turkeys are found in the light green biome of your map, where you will also come across palm trees, banana plants, and Wary Mus. You will need two shots of your Basic Spear to kill a turkey. There is a small chance that it will drop a feather. Until then, keep killing these flightless birds. Don’t worry, there’s no fear of extinction as they respawn pretty fast.
