By leveling up your Pokemon, you will be able to evolve them and make them into the best versions of themselves. By becoming more powerful, your Pokemon will be able to take on the difficult enemies and bosses of the game.

EXP Candies will give you a fixed amount of experience to the Pokemon that you select. This is different from Rare Candies which will level up your Pokemon to the next level. It’s a good idea to collect as many EXP Candies as you can as it is the fastest way to level up your Pokemon without having to play a lot of battles.

You can get EXP Candies in different sizes, which are mentioned below.

  • XS: 100 XP
  • S: 800 XP
  • M: 3,000 XP
  • L: 10,000 XP
  • XL: 30,000 XP

There are two ways to get EXP Candy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. One of them is to look for Poke Balls that are scattered all over the region of Paldea. They are easily found as you will be able to see them from a distance with the help of the glow that it emits on the ground. You will simply need to look around for them, and wait for them to spawn.

The second way is to participate in Tera Raid Battles. For successful completion of a Tera Raid Battle, you will get a lot of rewards which include some EXP Candies.
