The Assault Vest is quite powerful, which makes sense that it’s difficult to find. There are two ways in the game through which you can get it, and one of them is slightly easier.

The first thing that you will need to do if you want to get the Assault Vest in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is to visit the Delibird Presents shop in Mesagoza. You will be able to find it close to the western gate to the town. Travel northwest of the gate, and you should be able to find the building easily.

However, through this method, you will be able to buy the item only if you have completed the game entirely. This is basically post-game content, and you will need to spend a lot of Poke Dollars for it. 50,000, to be exact.

The other way to get this item is completely for free. You can pick it up south of the town of Porto Marinada. There is a building which resembles a garage, and you will need to make your way towards it. Behind the garage is a red light in the distance which you can approach, and it’s the Assault Vest just sitting there. You can pick it up and get it for your Pokemon. This is the cheaper and easier way to get it in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
