If you have been playing Fortnite for a long time, you are aware of how to gain Shield in Fortnite; for new players, this guide will help you know how to gain Shield in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4.
Gaining Shield in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4- How to Do?
If you are a Fortnite player and played the previous Fortnite Seasons, you are already aware of the process of gaining Shield and the importance of Shield. Shields protect you from taking damages. If your Shield is full, your enemies have to break your Shield first to damage you. It allows you some time to run away or hide from the enemy before getting injured. Also, it protects the players from fall damage and other damages.
At the beginning of a match, besides collecting weapons, players need to fill their shield bar so they can survive the external attacks more and have the chance to escape from the enemies. Sometimes, during a match, your enemies break your Shield and damage you, but if you survive, you have the chance to regain your Shield and health. Below are the ways you can use to gain Shields in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4-
- Use Small Shield Potions to fill the Shield Bar. Small Shield Potions are Uncommon items that are not really uncommon in the game. You can mainly find them from the chests, but sometimes you can get them as ground loot. You can use it twice at a time.
- Use Shield Potion to fill/refill the Shield bar. These are transparent, round jars with blue potion inside. These are rare items but not so rare that you can’t find them throughout the game. Instead, you’ll find several Shield Potion jars in a single match. These potions refill the bar quickly.
- Use Chug Splash to regain Shield. Chug Splash are rare items, but the same as the Shield Potion, not so rare that you must make lots of effort to find them. Chug Splash spawns randomly, but generally, they are found in the boxes. Pick them up and throw them near you to regain Shield. Generally, they come in a set of 2.
- Use Shield Keg to regain Shield. Shield Keg is another excellent thing to get back, Shield. Shield Keg is a rare item randomly found as ground loot, and players can throw them to get back Shield. Once you throw it, a shield potion comes out of it. Stay inside the potion to gain Shield.
- Except for these, there are small glowing mushrooms in the Reality Falls area. If you jump on it, you’ll gain Shield. When in the area, you’ll find Small blue, glowing mushrooms scattered here and there. Jumping on them throws you high in the air and revives your Shield (When health is full; otherwise, it’ll restore health first.)
- Finally, Shield Potion Jars can be found randomly inside buildings or wooden houses. Stay close to them and break them with your Harvesting Tool to regain some Shield. But these jars revive a little Shield.
These are the ways to regain shields in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4. The regaining shield process is the same as it was in the previous season. Regaining Shield during a match gives XP. There are one or two more ways to gain Shield, but these above-mentioned are the most popular and easily-accessible ways.
