If you wish to get the wild Pokémon in battle again, there are a few ways to go about it. The first method involves you leaving the area and coming back, and is efficient to respawn wild Pokémon. If you cannot spot the Pokémon you wish to battle, you can leave the area either through the fast travel point nearby, or ride your Koraidon or Miraidon a short distance away. When you come back to the same spot, you will notice that new Pokémon have spawned. Another method you can try is to host a Picnic. This method works especially well for Mass Outbreaks to respawn. Open your Picnic table and close it up without leaving the area to get the Mass Outbreak again.
As for Legendary Pokémon, they only respawn after you restart the game. After you defeat the Legendary Pokémon, you have to wait for 10 minutes, then restart the game. Go back to the same location where the legendary Pokémon was to initiate a rematch. You can also change the time by a few minutes or hours manually in the Nintendo Switch’s settings menu to force the Legendary Pokémon to respawn.
