You can also play various interesting and challenging video games created by other players. It was launched in 2006 and it is available mostly on all gaming platforms such as iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Xbox One. Roblox is a bit complex and therefore players face several bugs and issues every now and then. In this guide, we are going to discuss error code 273 as many players are now reporting this frustrating error. Let’s learn what is the reason behind error code 273 in Roblox and how you can fix it with some quick workarounds.

How to Fix Roblox Error Code 273

The exact error message reads – “Disconnected from the game, possibly due to the game joined from another device (Error Code: 273).

The error message itself shows that you’re logged in to another device with the same login details. However, error code 273 also triggers when your internet connection is poor and not stable or Roblox found any malicious activities on your account. Whatever the reasons, here is how you can fix Roblox error code 273.

Before you start the following troubleshooting steps – Make sure:

– You are not using any VPN service while using Roblox

– Your internet connection is not poor

– To update your network hardware to the latest version 

1. First of all, simply sign out from all your devices in which you are using the same account and then try to play the game. If any other player is using your login credentials, ask her/him to log out from the account and you won’t experience error code 273.

2. If the above solution doesn’t work, the next solution we recommend is to delete the cache data from your PC as well as Roblox. 

From PC: Open up the Run dialogue box by pressing Win + R keys on your keyboard. Then type %localappdata% and then press Ok. Go to the Temp folder and then delete the Roblox folder in it. This method will not affect the game’s settings.

From Roblox: Go to Roblox Settings >> Privacy and Security >> Cookies and other site data >> See all site data and permissions >> Type in Roblox in the search bar >> and delete everything related to Roblox

Once done, relaunch Roblox and check if the error code 273 still persists

3. If that doesn’t work, try running the game as administrator. To do this: Right-click on the Roblox Player on the desktop >> Go to Properties >> Compatibility > Check “Run this program as an administrator >> Apply >> Ok

4. Our next solution is to change your DNS address to fix error code 273 in Roblox. For this: Go to Control Panel on your PC >> Then go to Network and Internet >> Network and Sharing Center >> Click on internet network in Connections >> Properties >> Double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 >> Click on Use the following DNS server address and write in 8.8.8.8 in a Preferred DNS server and write in 8.8.4.4 in Alternate DNS server. 

Once done, click on Ok and close the Windows. Now launch Roblox and the error code 273 should be fixed.
