In Elden Ring, players will encounter a vast number of NPCs throughout the map of Lands Between. These NPCs are an integral part of the game and sometimes act as merchants; sometimes they give players quests; sometimes they help players fight powerful bosses; sometimes they provide the players with valuable rewards, etc. Though it is possible to avoid interacting with some optional NPCs, most of them can’t be ignored.
These friendly NPCs sometimes turned into hostile and aggressive NPCs. Making a wrong decision will change the NPCs into hostile ones and take back the quest opportunities or trade options. This guide will help you know how to fix hostile NPCs in Elden Ring.
Fix Elden Ring Hostile NPCs
The NPCs provide some key items and quests, and your one wrong decision or hostile attack towards them will take away the opportunities to get these things. Realizing the wrong is not enough; players need to fix things and make the NPCs friendly again so they can get a second chance to interact with them.
Elden Ring has provided a way to fix all hostilities done on the NPC. Players can even revive the NPCs they have mistakenly killed. All you need to do is get Celestial Dew, one of the rarest items of the game, and use it in the pool in the Church of Vows. This will reverse all the hostile actions done to the NPCs, and players will get a second chance to interact with them.
As we’ve mentioned previously that Celestial Dew is one of the rarest items players can find in the game. There are only 6 places where you can get Celestial Dew, and once you collect it, it won’t respawn. Once you get the Celestial Dew, head to the east side of Liurnia, and you’ll find the Church of Vows there. Once there, you’ll encounter Miriel, the giant turtle. Ignore it, and move towards the pool. The pool is on the backside of the church. A prompt comes once you reach the pool, saying to get the absolution. Select it, and all the hostile NPCs will be back to normal.
Below we are giving the places to collect Celestial Dew-
1. Purchase it from the Nomadic Merchant in Ainsel River,
2. Purchase from the Carian Servant, Pidia, at Caria Manor.
3. Pick up from a corpse in the ruin in Nokron.
4. Get it from a corpse in Nokstella.
5. Get it from a hanging corpse in the Uhl Palace Ruins.
6. Get it from a corpse at the side of the road in the Night’s Sacred Ground.
These are the locations to get Celestial Dew and remember, it won’t spawn again once you collect them. Therefore, be careful while using Celestial Dew.
