In Destiny 2, Captain’s Atlas is one of the first quest items which can be unlocked. It is a crucial item of the Robbery Season that utilizes map fragments from the Ketchcrash activity and organizes treasures from several activities like Crucible, public events, and others. But regrettably, due to a bug, players are unable to pick up the Captain’s Atlas, and eventually, players are not able to progress further in the game. In some cases, when players attempt to pick up the item on the Star Map, the item pops up that it was already purchased. Thankfully, there are a few tactics you can try to fix the Destiny 2: Captain’s Atlas bug.
How to Fix Destiny 2 Captain’s Atlas
According to multiple reports on Reddit, players keep trying to acquire the Captain’s Atlas from the Start Chart in the H.E.L.M, but due to a bug, they cannot pick it up. Also, it doesn’t show anything on their quests slot.
On the known issues board, Bungie has already mentioned this bug. According to the developers, this bug triggers when the quest menu is full. They have advised to clear quest inventory first and then pick up the Captain’s Atlas from the Postmaster.
However, some players report they have already cleared out inventory but still the issue persists. So, it is also advised to leave the menu and then return to the postmaster zone in the H.E.L.M. because this item was listed as a “Lost Item”. When you pick the item from here, the Captain’s Atlas will be activated and will be queued in the Quest Inventory again.
Some players also suggest to log out and back in again the game and you will find the item in the Post Master.
That’s all we have at the moment to fix Destiny 2: Captain’s Atlas bug.
