How to Farm Palindrome in Destiny 2
To farm Palindrome in Destiny 2, you have to take part in Nightfall activity on the specific week when it drops. It’s dropped at the end of the match. While the drop is random and depends on the Destiny’s RNG, there are some ways to increase the possibility that the weapon drops for you.
First, take part in the event when the Palindrome actually drops. At the time of writing this post, the weapon is a drop until the weekly reset on Tuesday. If you are taking part in Nightfall and the weapon drop is Shadow Price, the next will have the Palindrome.
If you are targeting the weapon this week, you are in luck because the Nightfall is the Arms Dealer, one of the easiest to get through. There are two ways you can increase the possibility of the Palindrome dropping, go to the Ghost and turn on the perk Prosperity (Vanguard). With this perk, you drastically increase your chances of farming the Palindrome. The perk reads, “Vanguard playlist strikes and Nightfall completions have a chance to drop an additional piece of legendary gear.” It just means you have one more opportunity to get the weapon drop.
The second thing that ensures you get the Palindrome in Destiny 2 and farm it quickly is to play through the difficulty Legend that is +1300 and go through the Champions and Boss fast. You can also get it at +1330, but the higher difficulty will make progress slow and is not ideal for farming the weapon. However, if you are looking for additional drop you can go with the Master difficulty. Know that though, the Palindrome drop rate in the both the +1300 and +1330 is the same. So, if your objective is to farm the weapon, it best to go through Nightfall quickly in Legend difficulty.
How to Get Palindrome in Destiny 2 for Solo Players
That above was for teams, but you cannot go through the same difficulty sole. For solo players the best way to farm Palindrome is to go through the mission in Hero difficulty that’s +1270. The exotic drop at this difficulty is Uncommon, but that’ better than Rare at Adept difficulty. If you are really confident as a solo player, you can of course go with the +1300 difficulty, which will definitely drop the weapon.

- Quickdraw
- Rangefinder
- Richochet Rounds
For PVP the God Roll includes:
- Appended Mag
