How to Dye Armor in New World
To dye your armor, of course, you need dye first. You can craft dye in the kitchen, you can get it by completing a quest, or you can purchase it from Trading Post. Now, when you get dye, follow the process mentioned below-
- Press Tab to open your inventory
- Left-click on the Armor piece you want to dye
- Click on the Dye option.
You can preview how the armor looks before you actually apply it. Then if you feel it is all right, apply the dye on your armor piece.
A few things you need to remember before you apply the dye to your armor-
- You can dye your shield.
- Tou can only die you armors but not the tools.
- Once you have applied the dye to the armor, the dye pot becomes empty. You have to make it again if you need it further.
Depending on the dye you have, you can select the primary and secondary colors. You can even apply the dye to a specific piece of armor by hitting the arrow on the box under a category and, after that, select a dye.
You can actually buy skin by spending some money, but if you don’t want to do that, then try dying your armor by following the above process. It will customize your armor and also give it a personal touch.
