Genshin Impact Tavern Challenge: Maguu Kenki Guide
The Tavern Challenge is part of the game mode Genius Invokation TCG, which has been permanently added to the game in the last update. You will be able to unlock the mode at AR 32 once you have completed the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom.

In this mode, you will be able to play against the monster cards which contain bosses that you might have already encountered in the base game. One of them is Maguu Kenki which is a boss located in Inazuma. If you want this boss for your deck, you will need to beat the Tavern Challenge first, so let’s see how you can do it.
The first thing that you will need to do if you want to beat the Maguu Kenki in Genshin Impact Tavern Challenge is to beat the accompanying enemy characters of Nobushi. This will allow you to focus on the main boss, Maguu Kenki. This boss has Anemo and Cryo summons as well as a special status called Terrormask’s Return which makes them the active character in the End Phase.
The Nobushi will charge after two turns, so make sure to take them out before this happens. The Maguu Kenki will use its Elemental Skill in the first round, which is Electro on Normal Mode, and Pyro on Hard Mode. The second and third rounds will be Anemo and Cyro Skills respectively before it breaks out with the Elemental Burst attack in the fourth round. As long as you take out the Nobushi first, it should be manageable.
Recommended characters that you can use are Bennett, Noelle or Fischl, and Xingqiu. Take it slow and don’t switch too quickly as the Maguu Kenki will be doing the same.
