How to Beat Mairwyn the Elementalist in V Rising
In V Rising, there are plenty of monsters waiting to be defeated by the player, and Mairwyn the Elementalist is just one of them. This is a level 64 boss, so make sure that your gear and weapons are on par to be battling this monster. It’s a good idea to join a clan if you haven’t yet, as it is easier to fight with multiple team members. Solo play is also possible, but it is more difficult.

This boss can be found southwest of the Silverlight Hills. As a spellcaster, they will shoot out continuous projectiles at you which you need to dodge. These can be of any element, but some of them are deadly for lower level players. They have a continuous fire attack combined with other ice projectiles that you can dodge quickly. Ranged attacks seem to be the best option for this boss as there is little chance of you getting close to them without biting the dust.
Once you have defeated Mairwyn the Elementalist, you will receive the power of Crystal Lance which allows you to launch a projectile that deals 150% magic damage, and inflicts a Chill effect on your enemies. It explodes on impact and the smaller projectiles deal 50% damage each. You will also receive the recipe of Imperial Thread for defeating the boss.
