Dinkum is a fun life and farming simulation game, except when you’re in the Deep Mines. There is some serious treasure in there, but also some very scary enemies that will try their best to kill you. This guide will take you through the process of how to deal with bats in the Deep Mine in Dinkum.
How to Kill Bats in Deep Mine in Dinkum
If you’ve been to the Deep Mine already, you will know how annoying the bats are. They will keep attacking you over your head and the attacks from your spear seem to do nothing at all.

Bats are small pesky creatures, and the reason your hits don’t make contact is that they’re up in the air. A lot of bats might come out at once, and this is quite frustrating. However, there is an easy fix. You don’t need to change your weapon or even get a better Hunting licence. All you need to do is jump.
Press the spacebar to jump and use the left click to hit immediately. This should kill the bat as they don’t have a lot of health. However, it might take a bit of practice to get it right. Once you have it down, it should be easy to even spear multiple bats at once, if they’re close to each other.
As for the weapon, you can use the spear or the bat. The pickaxe also does a good job if you don’t want to use your iron weapons. Bats have low health, and they will go down in one shot.
Now that you know how to deal with bats in the deep mine, you will have an easier time down there. Check out more of our guide on Dinkum here: Dinkum FAQ – Questions Answered | Deep Mines, Thunder Egg & More.
