Here is a step-by-step guide to creating WhatsApp call links on Android/iPhone.

Before that, you should know that only 32 people can now join or be added to a video call using the link.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android/iPhone and navigate to the ‘Calls’ section.

Step 2: There will be an option ‘Create Call Link’. Navigate to it.

Step 3: It will launch an interface within WhatsApp, displaying the default call option and a link for a call.

Step 4: There will be four options  – Call type, send link via WhatsApp, Copy the link, and Share link.

Step 5: Tap on ‘Call type’ and select your call Mode(Video or Audio).

Step 6: To share the link on WhatsApp, click the ‘Send link via WhatsApp’ button.

Step 7: To copy the link, select the ‘Copy link’ option.

Step 8: If you want to share the link with another app, select the ‘Share link’ option.

  • The Call Links will expire in 90 days after that you have to create a fresh Link.
  • The calls are still encrypted from end to end.
  • The WhatsApp call links are only available on mobile devices
  • The Whatsapp call Links can’t work on Windows and macOS
