Since Hisui is the pre-historic version of Sinnoh, many recent technological advancements have not made it to the region, hence why players are required to craft their Poke Ball and its variants. While progressing through the game you will earn various recipes that will help you craft items that you will need on your journey. After earning the 2nd Star Rank from the main missions, you will be awarded the Feather Ball recipe. Feather Balls are useful in successfully capturing floating or flying Pokémon since the Feather Ball is specified only for those kinds of Pokémon.
To craft a Feather Ball, you will need one Sky Tumblestone and one Apricorn. Sky Tumblestones are found in caves in Oreburrow Tunnel, found in the Obsidian Fieldlands. You can get Sky Tumblestones by smashing blue crystals in the cave. Apricorns can be found in Apricorn trees around the region, especially near the north Base Camp in Obsidian Fieldlands. You can also buy both the items in Craftworks, but it will cost you some money.
Once you have the materials, you can use the workbench available at both the Craftworks and Base Camps to craft your Feather Ball.
