Nautilus is a new champion who was added to Wild Rift along with Pyke this year on the 21st of June. He is a very versatile champion in terms of role selection and can be played as a tank engage support, solo lane champ or jungler. To be able to counter him in game of course the first and most important thing is to understand his attacks.
League of Legends: Wild Rift Nautilus Counter Guide
Nautilus is a tank with great engage and a lot of cc. His first ability is a hook that deals 70 magic damage along with pulling him and the first target together. If the hook hits terrain then 50% of its mana cost and cool down is returned which helps him case targets more easily.

His second ability gives him a shield for 6 seconds and lets him absorb 120% of damage (55+ 10% max health). As long as the shield holds he does increased damage around his target.
His third ability sends out waves which slows the enemy by 35% along with dealing 60 magic damage.
His ultimate ability lets him throw a death charge towards an enemy champion of his choice that deals 150 magic damage along with knocking them up and stunning them for 1 second. When correctly used in a team fight can be a turning point to win the match.
Cons of Nautilus
Nautilus is a quite slow champion and barely has any escape options once he makes the engage. If the engage isn’t set right or his team doesn’t pull through while he engages it can be easy to escape or even kill him. Nautilus is vulnerable to poke damage. He is also very ability dependant and landing hooks can be trouble sometimes.

General Tips to Counter Nautilus
When Nautilus uses his ultimate on a target it knocks up everyone in its way. So keep in mind to always flash sideways instead of towards your team as it will knock all of them up and set easy kills for the enemy team.
When Nautilus chases you or tries to gank you try you best to stay away from terrain as it’ll make it easier for him to chase you with the reduction on his cool down time. Try to break his shield as soon as possible as he can do a good amount of AOE damage and kill squishy targets with it very easily.
We hope this guide will be just the thing you need to deal with the enemy team Nautilus.
