Side missions have plenty of benefits, so make sure you do most of them in addition to completing the main quests of the game. Even if you’ve missed a couple of these, you can always go back during free play mode after you’ve finished the game to get all the rewards.
For this particular quest, you will need to reach Episode IV: A New Hope where you will find yourself in a region called the Giant Temple. This area is located on Yavin 4, and to obtain the quest you should look for a droid named G8-R3. By interacting with this NPC you will be able to start Woola-Man’s Best Friend Challenge.
Once you have found G8-R3, they will present you with a task which is to find another Rebel character who is in the same area. You can begin your investigation by talking to the nearby characters, who have a green thought bubble above their heads, indicating that they have something to say. By picking up the clues from these conversations, you will be able to narrow down the position of the Rebel.
The Rebel is the character holding a banana, and you will need to speak to him in order to complete Woola-man’s Best Friend challenge. Return to G8-R3 once you have done so, and you will be able to unlock them as a playable character once you purchase them with the in-game currency of Studs.
