With the new update to Clash of Clans, which has been its biggest and most unique one in years, players have been keeping busy with the Clan Capital and the Raid Weekend. Additionally, Supercell introduced the Royal Challenge where players can participate in order to get more rewards in the game. This guide will take you through the process of how to beat the Royale Challenge in Clash of Clans.
How to Beat the Royale Challenge in Clash of Clans
As a base challenge, the players will be provided with troops beforehand, and they will not have to train them or pay for their training. They will be able to perform the challenge as many times as they want, so it’s a good space to practice and get those rewards.

The Royale Challenge takes place in the all-new Royale scenery, and players will be met with a large number of defensive buildings and hidden traps in the base that they need to take down. The army composition given to you for this challenge is as follows:
- 18 Miners
- 10 Hog Riders
- 3 Healers
- 3 Pekkas
- 1 Balloon
- Level 40 Archer Queen
- 2 Rage Spells
- 1 Clone Spell
You have until May 22 to complete this challenge, and on victory, which is achieved at three stars you will receive one Shovel of Obstacles and 400 Experience in addition to the resources that you can loot from the base.
This is quite an easy challenge for most players, who can start with a Queen Walk on the Town Hall corner along with a Pekka. Use another Pekka on an adjoining corner to build a funnel for Miners. Once the initial area is cleared, direct your Miners to the core of the base, along with Hog Riders. Place a Rage Spell and Clone Spell when they get there. Distract the enemy’s clan castle troops with a Balloon and a Rage Spell, and you should be clear.
