The new weather system that has been implemented causes immense damage as they whip through the map, throwing down bolts of lightning or pulling up everything in its path. Getting close to either one, either a Tornado or a Thunderstorm will make you get whipped around or zapped. To find a tornado to complete the challenge is tricky, as it’s not that easy and they do not show up on the map. Even if the weather is bad, there is no guarantee that you will come across a tornado. But there are some telltale signs that you might come across a tornado. Look around for dark clouds that do not emit any lightning. Get up on a vantage point like a hill or a mountain to get a better look. Once you spot something like that, use your slide move to get there as fast as you can.
Once you have your tornado in view, get close to it so that it will pull you up, and then keep flying around for 100 meters to complete the challenge.
That’s all there is to know about finding a tornado and flying around it for 100 meters in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. If you liked this guide you can check out all our Fortnite guides on the site.
