Valorant probably offers the most precise headshot of all the multiplayer available today. However, when you make a headshot, you may want to boast about it, not just to your teammates but also the opponents. To do this, you need to know how to chat to all in Valorant. Or you are one of those players with a good sportsman spirit and you want to congratulate the opponents for an awesome hand. Valorant allows you to do so, you can chat with all the players on the game i.e. the five players on the other team. In this guide, we will help you do exactly that.
How do you talk in all chat in Valorant?
In order to chat to all in Valorant you need to press Shift + Enter, instead on the usual Enter. This is not the only way, you can type ‘/all’ at the beginning of the message to send the message to all players. And if the message is intended only for your team mates you can type ‘/party’ before the message. Frankly though, who has the time to type that command every time they write the message. I personally prefer the Shift + Enter, it’s quicker and once it gets into habit, it’s effortless. Nonetheless, if you prefer to type ‘/all’ before each message, do that.
Those players who are familiar with other Riot Games like League of Legends will be familiar with this system. The chat command for Valorant is exactly the same with League of Legends, Shift + Enter sends the chat to all the players and a simple Enter to the players in your team.
Not all League of Legends chat commands are still available in Valorant, but who knows they may come when the game is released.
When you send a message, you can see where the message has gone by looking at the bracketed words before the message. It says three things – Team, All, and Broadcast. ‘Team’, obviously means the message can only be seen by the team. ‘All’ means all the players can see the message, and Broadcast refers to automatic messages when the player has bought a new weapon for themselves or teammates.
If you are thinking of having a conversation with the other team, you have to be prompt as the game closes pretty quickly. Now, you know how to chat to all in Valorant, but do not go overboard and talk trash or it may get you in more trouble. Valorant has certain rules and deifying the rules may get you banned or kicked out from the game.
