Pokémon Legends Arceus brings you lots of new items, quests and Pokémon with its long-awaited release on Nintendo Switch. As the game is set in the ancient region of Hisui, Trainers can catch Pokémon while exploring the new game map. There are plenty of newly introduced Pokémon, in addition to old gen familiar faces. This guide will take you through the process of owning Teddiursa & Ursaring in Pokémon Legends Arceus.
Where to Find Teddiursa & Ursaring in Pokémon Legends Arceus
Teddiursa is a Normal Type Little Bear Pokémon with the ability of Pickup, Quick Feet and the hidden ability of Honey Gather which has no special effect in battle. Teddiursa can evolve into Ursaluna with a Peat Block or they can evolve into Ursaring when they are Level 30. While the Pokémon Ursaring can be found in the wild, they protect the Teddiluna and are very aggressive to the player. They cannot be caught, but can be evolved from Teddiluna.
Ursaring on the other hand, is a Normal Type Hibernator Pokémon with the abilities of Guts, Quick Feet, and the hidden ability of Unnerve which makes the opponent nervous and unable to eat Berries. They can also be found in specific areas.

Teddiursa are usually guarded by the more powerful Ursaring which patrol the areas where they spawn. These Pokémon can be found in Ursa’s ring in the Crimson Mirelands as well as the Sonorous Path in Coronet Highlands.
It’s a good idea to hide in the bushes so that the Ursasing cannot spot you. Once you’ve avoided them, you can sneak up on to a Teddiursa. Keep a close eye on the Ursaring as they are in danger of attacking once they spot you. Throwing a Pokeball at an unsuspecting Teddiursa will usually catch it.
Make your way out of there as soon as possible as the Ursaring will turn feral as soon as they realise one of their Teddiursa is gone.
