Season 7 of Sea of Thieves featured several new dynamics, features, and more, including the opportunity to name your ship. This allows you a lot of freedom in naming your ship, but some players may struggle to come up with a nice name or wish to modify it.
You may become a Captain, name your ship, modify its look, and earn access to rare Sovereign cruises by becoming a Captain. Ship Captaincy is a new feature introduced in Season 7 of Sea of Thieves, and becoming one is pretty simple.
In Sea of Thieves, you may change and rename your ship. If you are unhappy with the name you chose for your ship, you may modify it because they are not permanent. However, it is not a free service, and you must take certain measures to obtain it.
This guide shows how to name and rename your ship in Sea of Thieves.
