While building your Castle, you will require plenty of structures to make it sturdy enough to protect you and your belongings. But building items will require materials, and if you don’t have enough of them, you will not be able to live comfortably, especially during the day. The roof requires total completion of the Castle, which includes walls and floors, and only then you will be able to place a roof overhead. But very early in the game, you will be too busy trying to make up for all the materials you lose from building to worry about a roof. That’s where Mist Braziers come in. using Mist Braziers will give you some protection from sunlight, but the only drawback is that it only projects in a small area. So if you wish to seek shelter, you will have to be around the area where the Mist Brazier is placed.

You can place multiple Mist Braziers around your castle, but each of them will cost 120 Stones. You can find the blueprint to build them under the Fundamentals tab in the build section. To use it, you will have to light it up with fuel and feed it bones. For every minute the Mist Brazier runs, it will consume one bone. You can turn it off when you do not need it to save resources. This is just a temporary solution till you can build yourself a proper roof.
