You can start assembling your deck by putting in a minimum of 40 or a maximum of 60 of your main cards. These cards will go in your main deck. The extra deck can have 15 cards. Place your XYZ Monster cards, Link, and Fusion cards in the extra deck. You will need to arrange your main deck in a way that you can draw out your cards efficiently while in Duel. Have cards that complement each other in a battle to have a better chance at winning. You will need to focus on reducing your opponent’s Life Points. Use cards that have a higher ATK stat than the opponent card, but look out for their DEF stat as well, as if it is higher, your ATK won’t cause any damage. You can also own copies of your card, but only up to 3 copies of the same title are allowed. You should keep a tab if your card falls under the Forbidden or Limited List, as this can affect the number of copies you can have.
You can also customize your deck by going to the Deck Editor menu. You can utilize the card sleeve, game mat, field parts, card cases, and mate’s base mascot card for each deck. You can get accessories after completing certain objectives or by getting them from the in-game shop.
