The second boss you’ll face in Rogue Legacy 2 is the Void Beasts. This fight occurs near the end of the Axis Mundi zone and pits you against former pirate skeletons. Because these attackers are so large, and eventually there are two of them. So, it can be a little difficult to get your bearings.

Fortunately, if you have the appropriate class and attributes, the boss isn’t too difficult. Let’s take a look at The Void Beast’s attacks, as well as some general advice on how to defeat these massive opponents.

The Moveset of the Void Beasts

Despite the fact that there are two opponents to contend with, the moveset of the Void Beasts is fairly limited. Only three attacks will be shown, and both bosses will use the same moves, so when the second boss joins the fray, you won’t have to learn anything new. The following are their attacks:

Giant Bones

After a windup, the Beasts will hurl a screen-filling bone at you that spins until it’s off the screen. It may take some practice to get the timing right, but you can easily avoid this with your dash.

Enrage

Once you’ve reduced the health of the first Void Beast by around 33%, the second Beast will join the battle. That’s when things can get hectic, because each boss will perform one of the above-mentioned attacks on its own, resulting in a screen that quickly fills up with junk to bypass.

Bone Toss

The Void Beasts toss several bones into the air, which arc straight down towards you. These are easy to avoid, but if both Beasts do it at the same time, they can make the room feel overcrowded.

Jump Attack

The Beasts launch themselves into the air and crash land, unloading several bones along the horizontal plane. Again, unless they’re both doing it at the same time, you can jump over the bones and move in for an attack relatively easily.\

How to Defeat Void Beasts in Rogue Legacy 2

The first thing you should do is unlock the damage Insight of The Void Beasts. This is known as Missing Bodies, and completing it grants you a +15% damage increase against bosses. If you’re on the verge of winning the fight, this should help push you over the top.

Aside from that, we’ve discovered that the Duelist is the best class for dealing with this boss. This is due to the Duelist’s Combat Roll talent, which allows you to dodge damage with the press of a button. You can use this talent to easily dodge the Beast’s bone tosses and get in position to attack because it resets so quickly.

My love for COD started when I was 18 and since then it has been growing. Other games that I love are Assasin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto V. Currently building an affair with the story-based games.
