First, you and your friends should have active Sharkmob accounts to log into the game. Next, if you have their Sharkmob ID, you can input it in the search bar after clicking the Find Friend button. You can find the Find Friend button in the social menu, on the left side of the screen. This can be done even if the player is offline or isn’t in the same lobby as you. If you wish to add any player you come across, you can do that while in Elysium. To do this, go to the social menu and click on the three dots next to the username of the player. In the drop-down, select the option for Add Friend. If you and your friends are playing through Steam, any friend on your Steam friend list who is playing Bloodhunt will be automatically added to your friend list.
The only drawback to the system is that the lobbies for both PC and PS5 are not the same, so while there is a crossplay feature in the game, you won’t be able to find someone on a cross-platform.
To form a squad to team up and play Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt, you will have to go to the social menu, click on the three dots next to the username, and select the option Invite to Group. If the friend is not in the same lobby as you, you can send an invite to join your lobby in the same way. Once everyone has accepted your invite and you have gathered your team, you will have to wait in queue till the next slot for the squad match is available.
