My Time at Sandrock is a game about acquiring materials in order to construct constructions. As the tale progresses, you’ll need to start updating your machines in order to unlock new crafting recipes. It may appear intimidating at first since upgrading each of your devices requires a large range of various materials.
This article will show you how machines work in My Time at Sandrock.

Working of Machines in My Time At Sandrock
Each My Time at Sandrock machine is unique, yet they all have the same characteristics:
- They require water in your Water Tank to function.
- They must be fuelled, either individually or collectively, with a Fire Powered Generator, which is unlocked later.
- They require time to manufacture stuff, and you can see how much time is left above them.
- Many of the machines on this list have improved versions, but having anything is preferable to having nothing (particularly when starting out).
Once everything is in place, you shouldn’t have just one of each machine. Every machine in my mid-game setup contains four or more of them. More machines decrease the likelihood of needing to wait longer for crafts and therefore, fulfilling Commissions.
Sticks, Pipes, Plates, and other items will be used extensively. Keep 12 or more of these in stock for commissions and missions as you build up your workshop. Prepare them ahead of time so you don’t have to wait, and replace them as needed.
Sand will gradually accumulate and cover your workbenches over time, slowing their output rate. You can repair this by using a Feather Duster on them; the Feather Duster blueprint may be obtained from the Commerce Guild and crafted at your workbench.
Which Machines to Unlock First in My Time At Sandrock
The Grinder or Processor should be the first My Time at Sandrock machines you unlock; each costs 1 Data Disc and unlocks various additional things for you to make.
Your next stage should be to become a Dew Collector. This will make it easier to obtain water and will aid in the operation of your devices.
Aside from that, you should concentrate on what you require the most for the work at hand. Remember that you may invest in more Data Discs to speed things up if necessary.
