When picking up the side quest Flying off the Shelves from Cressida, you will have to help her retrieve 5 flying books and hand them back to her so that she can remove the flying charm from them. After picking up the Flying off the Shelves side quest, head over to the library to find all five books. You will find them around the first and second floors of the library. You can use Revelio to spot them, and Accio to bring them to you. You will also find her diary in the midst of it, and you can read one of the pages. After finding all the books, head back to Cressida to remove the charm from them.
If you choose to hand over all the books without any further questions, Cressida will be thankful and delighted. She will comment on brushing up on her Latin and not using her charms in the Library again.
If you would give her the books except for her diary unless she gives you something in return, like money, she will be shocked. You get another chance to select the option where you can still hand over all the books without anything in return, and if you do you will get the above outcome. If you still want to press her for money, then she won’t have a choice but to pay you to get her diary back. She will tell you that you cannot be trusted and storm off. There are no consequences for your actions, expect that Cressida will not think too highly of you, and you can complete the quest.
