Grounded’s survival concept, the environment around you might become even more dangerous at night; opponents may also start appearing. It’s important to know how to save your progress early on by sleeping through the night – and setting a ‘respawn’ point – or else risk losing all of it if an opponent kills you while you sleep.
Respawn points and sleeping in the game are intertwined. You might respawn at the last Respawn Point if you die during gameplay of Grounded. Let’s see how to sleep through the night in Grounded.

How to Sleep through Night?
To get started on this journey, you’ll need to create some sort of shelter against the elements. You can construct what is known as a Lean-To, which requires:
- 2 oaks branches
- 3 clover leaves
To craft the Lean-To,
- You will need Materials first.
- When you’re at the Crafting Menu within Utilities, click on Lean-Tos.
- Then select Construct and place it wherever in the World where you want.
- If you need to move it again later, go back to the crafting menu and select Relocate.
Once the Lean-To shelter is set up, you can interact with it – eventually prompting a new message indicating to Set a New Respawn Point and To Sleep Until The Next Morning. You can only sleep at night – within the in-game hours of 8 PM to 6 AM, but you cannot sleep during the day. All you need to do is set up a respawn location for your character, and then you can rest peacefully through the night.
