Vibro-Crystal Research is a combat event released alongside the Chasm in Version 2.6 of Genshin Impact and veteran players loved it due to its versatility, complexity and high damage ceiling. Players could also use trial characters to beat the challenges since many of them were quite challenging and who doesn’t like to try out newly released characters in actual combat?
Vibro-Crystal Research Rerun in Version 3.5- Trial Characters
Genshin Impact Version 3.5 is having a rerun of this event and the trial characters have been recently leaked. Let’s take a look.
For players who haven’t been lucky in the Sumeru patches, this will be a great event to test out brand-new units like Cyno, Alhaitham, Nahida or Wanderer. There are also new 4-stars like Yaoyao, Faruzan or Layla- though you’ll notice only the good 4-stars have been included and Dori is evidently missing.
One can also make out what kind of challenges we’ll be facing based on the trial characters for each day’s challenge.
- The first day encourages single-target NA Pyro DPS which is why Hu Tao and Yoimiya appear together alongside Yun Jin (NA buffer) and Xingqiu (Vape support). One can imagine Elite or boss enemies with high HP on the first day.
- The second day is Mono Anemo with all trial characters being of the Anemo element. This means we’ll likely see tons of mobs with lots of elements to Swirl.
- The third day looks like a Burgeon comp but we still don’t know how good Dehya will be considering how her value has already plummeted.
- On the fourth day, the trial characters synergise perfectly for Hyperbloom with Cyno on the front being the main carry.
- On Day 5, we’re likely getting the Rifthounds due to Kokomi and 3 Cryo characters for trial- with two of them being healers and two being shielders. Freeze is the way to go against these enemies.
- The sixth day also encourages a Hyperbloom comp but you can also build Quicken comps with Alhaitham in the focus being the Spread DPS.
Since Dendro comps look like the norm in a majority of these challenges, there’s a high chance we’ll get Sumeru Eremite Elites or even Consecrated Beasts to fight against since they are all tanky. With Dendro in the mix, there’s also a high chance that the Vibro-Crystals themselves will be a lot more and complicated too since Dendro is such a reactive element.
