Genshin Impact Version 3.4 finally showed us Lisa in Sumeru and they made a whole event out of it. The Second Blooming is a combat event which rewards Lisa’s new Sumeru skin for free at the end of it- provided all the conditions are met. Earlier we did a guide for the Day 1 challenge and in this one we will tackle the Day 2 challenge.
Second Blooming Day 2
The key thing to note about Day 2’s challenge is that the first round desperately needs an Anemo CC and the second round gives us Rifthounds so of course we’ll need tons of healing. The skills in this round also benefit Anemo, Pyro and Cryo DPS so using characters from these respective elements will be ideal. Since all teams will need survivability and Hydro enables tons of reactions, we recommend you pick Kokomi for the shared first slot.
Round 1
Round 1 spawns multiple Fungi mobs which are easy to deal with when you have a unit like Venti around. As for the other two teammates, you can pick Cryo ones since they’ll keep the enemies Frozen.
As for the skills, we’ve used the Swirl buff and Cryo DMG buff but you can use the others too depending on what you think is appropriate.
Round 2
Rifthounds are never pleasant enemies to fight. With Kokomi and a Cryo shielder like Diona you can not only protect yourself from their attacks but also keep healing with two healing units. Bring a second Cryo unit just in case to keep up the consistent and reliable Cryo application. As your enemies are Frozen, we recommend an Electro DPS for the last slot. We’ve gone with Raiden but units like Keqing and Yae also work.
As for the skills we’ve focused on increasing the overall DPS using CRIT DMG buff and Burst DMG buff.
Round 3
In Round 3 you’ll only have Spectre mobs which are annoying but still easy to deal with. An Anemo CC unit comes in really handy. Kazuha would be best but the next best option is Sucrose. We’re using a Pyro DPS this round since we haven’t used one in the previous ones. This team can also be easily interchanged with the Round 1 team so it’s flexible.
As for the skills, we went with Pyro DMG buff and Bonus ATK% to get the best out of Yanfei and Bennett’s combo.
Only Round 2 requires careful team building and you can just choose your other strong units for the other two rounds. Anemo is expected to do the heavy lifting of bringing the annoying mobs close. Generally, Fungi are easier to deal with than Spectres because they are land creatures so they get pulled in easily. Spectres on the other hand are floating resilient balls of hate so they can only be brought closer but are never really made helpless like most other mobs facing Anemo’s CC units.
