Second Blooming is the latest event in Genshin Impact 3.4 where we finally see Lisa in Sumeru. It’s a combat event with Lisa’s Sumeru skin as the ultimate reward and we all know everyone wants that. The event is not a hardcore combat event unlike some previous ones but it’s still got some key mechanics and techniques to it which help you get the best results. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to beat the first day’s challenge of this event.
Second Blooming Day 1
In the first day’s challenge, all you need to know is that Dendro works best. The trick for team building with the shared slots here is to make sure you get at least one Dendro character on each team- preferably supports.
First Round
The first round spawns Ruin Elites which can deal a lot of damage and can often stagger you so a shielder is necessary. You can use Zhongli or Noelle for this one. You can also use Albedo since he triggers a lot of Crystallize. You can also use a Hydro healer like Barbara as above or Kokomi if you have her. This way you have a good Hyperbloom team- provided of course your characters are built for Hyperbloom. You can even use the trial characters if you’re not confident in your builds.
As for the skills, we have used Dendro EM buff on reactions and CRIT DMG% buff.
Second Round
In the second round, you will have scores of small mobs but they will be scattered and have high HP too at high difficulty. If you have Nahida then you’ll be safe else a unit like Kazuha or Venti is recommended for CC. We have used an Aggravate and Spread Quicken team which brings out the best of Electro and Dendro.
As for skills you can go for either an Electro DMG bonus or a Dendro DMG bonus depending on which is your better DPS in that team.
Third Round
This round is dominated by Hydro characters so you can also use a Freeze team which is viable. But since all the buffs had to do with Dendro, we went for a Bloom team without any Hydro character since all enemies come with Hydro applied to them by default.
The skills that can be chosen for this round is the one that buffs Dendro DMG since you are recommended to use a Dendro DPS. The other one can be an overall EM buff like the one we used.
Make sure to have a healer who synergises with the team in all 3 teams. Here we have Yaoyao and Barbara. Healers will make sure you don’t take too much damage from the Bloom cores in the field. As for Dendro alternatives, you can also use the Dendro Traveler and Collei in place of Nahida and Yaoyao. Alhaitham can be replaced by Tighnari too.
