Genshin Impact Version 3.1 is on the horizon and not only does it release the much-awaited Desert half of Sumeru but also brings with it a festival from Mondstadt, and the Genshin Impact Anniversary. After Genshin’s first anniversary last year went down in smoke and flames, they have certainly raised the bar this time. In this article, we will discuss Genshin Impact’s second-anniversary rewards and a general overview of all the upcoming events.
Genshin Impact Version 3.1 Upcoming Events and Anniversary Rewards
While we wouldn’t call the anniversary rewards as generous this time either but at least these qualify as special rewards that value the players. That said, with the quality of Sumeru- the region, animals, NPCs, enemies, and so on- we aren’t complaining. The following are all that you can expect from Version 3.1
Anniversary Rewards
The anniversary rewards will be sent to all players via their in-game mail. Here’s what players are getting on Genshin Impact’s 2nd Anniversary:
- 1600 Primogems
- 4 Fragile Resin
- Jumpty Dumpty Party Popper
- Cloud Retainer’s Damasked Device.
Other than the obvious, the Jumpty Dumpty Party Popper is likely something similar to one of the Liyue events where we got a Fireworks launcher. The Cloud Retainer’s Damasked Device is essentially a pet that resembles baby Cloud Retainer who we all know to be one of the regal adeptus of Liyue. She’s the one who took both Ganyu and Shenhe under her wing, so players will be happy to have her under their wing- even though she’s just a baby.
Path of Gleaming Jade
This is a Daily Log-In event where players will earn rewards just by logging in daily. These rewards will include a total of 10 Intertwined Fates, tons of Mora, Hero’s Wit EXP books and Mystic Enhancement Ores.
Hyakunin Ikki
This fun and fast-paced combat event is making a comeback in Version 3.1 and players can enjoy fighting in it for rewards once again. In this event, you choose pairs of characters and strategically use buffs alongside them to beat as many enemies as you possibly can with your characters and skill level. You have to keep switching between your chosen pairs at regular intervals to keep the heat of the battle burning. Players can also use the trial characters which are optimally built for the challenge.
Wind Chaser
This one is a domain exploration event with wind mechanics and puzzles inside. Players have to strategise and have good puzzle-solving skills for this one as they interact with the domain’s mechanics to collect all the Wind Coins, defeat all the enemies and come out on top. Players can even co-op this event domain with their friends and see how much they score together. It’s a fun lighthearted event that is sure to keep the players entertained during its run time.
Of Ballads and Brews
This event is one of the primary events of the next update as it will take place in Mondstadt as a celebration of the Wind and Wine Festival. Players will get to do loads of different activities and sub-quests. Some of these activities include:
- Autumn Crisis: Here players will likely have to clear enemy camps and defeat troublesome boars to make the areas safe for the festival.
- Highwind Trial: In this one, players will again have to go into combat with enemies but there will be buffs present in the challenge areas which players can use for an easier and more fun combat experience.
- Charity and Creativity: In this one, our Travelers will have to manage a shop and conduct business which is a first in this game. Those who have lost all their Primogems to Nilou, Cyno and Candace can enthusiastically participate in this one to win back some of those Primos.
- Fecund Blessings: To simply put it briefly this one is a Treasure Hunt event. Players will have to follow clues spread across the land of Mondstadt to get their treasure and even Paimon knows that Treasures are too good to pass up.
Star-Seeker’s Sojourn
This will likely be the last event of Version 3.1 considering how it’s set in Sumeru. This is an exploration treasure-hunt-like event where you have to help a little girl collect all Future Stars. This is an event similar to Graven Innocence as it urges you to explore more of Sumeru’s regions.
Genshin Impact 3.1 looks packed with exciting events and adventures and with the anniversary happening in its duration, players will receive a ton more rewards than any other usual patches. We’re also getting the Desert region which will have its own puzzles to solve and thus more rewards for us. We wish all Travelers a happy anniversary in advance and good luck for their upcoming character pulls in Version 3.1.
