Genshin Impact has introduced plenty of new achievements you can unlock in the latest 3.5 updates, and one of them is the Sickness Unto Near-Death achievement. You can get this achievement by going through a certain quest, and this guide will take you through the steps to get the achievement.

During the quest Fortune-Mocking Pedigree, you will have to craft a weird medicine for Eide, after which you will get the Sickness Unto Near-Death achievement in Genshin Impact 3.5.

You will get this achievement almost toward the end of the quest, particularly after crafting the Nameless Taboo Medicine of the Royal Court. You will get this side quest during the Fortune Mocking Pedigree quest, which is the second part of the Archon Quest – Chapter III: Act VI – Caribert.

After helping Eide synthesize the Nameless Taboo Medicine and testing it on the Hilichurl, you will be tasked with creating the actual medicine for Caribert. You will be led to a crafting bench, after which Eide will elaborate on his plan to feed the Nameless Taboo Medine to Caribert and recover his clarity of mind, amongst other things. Against your better judgment, you will be forced to procure the medicine for him.

Eide will hand over one of the three medicinal ingredients, which is a strange mushroom and will ask you to get the other two ingredients. The other two ingredients you will need are one Kalpalata Lotus and one Sumeru Rose. These two ingredients are quite common to find around Sumeru, so collect one of each and head back to the crafting table. Interact with the table to create the medicine, after which it will be added to your inventory and you will unlock the Sickness Unto Near-Death achievement.
