Genshin Impact Version 3.2 will finally finish off the Sumeru Archon Quest with the last Act and Scaramouche will likely be revealed to be the final boss of it. He’s already been leaked to be a weekly boss in the game, and his model’s design is terrifying. This Gundam-wielding child will have some interesting mechanisms in the boss fight which have been leaked.
Upcoming Weekly Boss Fight Mechanisms Leaked
Scaramouche or Shouki no Kami (his official boss name) will have two phases and both will likely be difficult to beat. The models of these phases have already been leaked as follows:
The above picture depicts his First Phase in a battle where the majority of his Gundam body is hidden underground and he likely only attacks with his arms. This phase also dons the singular HP bar meaning this will be his base form.
In Phase 2, his entire mechanic body is revealed and as you can see- it’s huge. After Dvalin, this is the second giant boss Travelers have to fight. Just like Dvalin, this Phase will have an additional shield HP bar as shown below. This Gundam boss will also likely have a weak spot which greatly damages him. The image below also depicts one of his Phase 2 attacks- and it’s truly grand and scary.
Scaramouche’s boss fight will have several elemental mechanics so players will have to be wary of their team compositions in this one. From the looks of it, Travelers will be able to use the Akasha Terminal in this fight which is truly innovative and fresh. This boss fight will also have a Frost and Flame environmental effect like that of Signora’s boss fight and you’ll need the “New Akasha Terminal” to deal with it.
The Anemo updraft being able to help characters dodge the attacks of the boss in this first phase also indicates most of its attacks will be ground-based but probably covering a wide AoE due to the size and range of his mecha robot. All elements except Dendro and Geo will be useful in this fight since only their elemental matrices don’t exist in the above leak.
The energy blocks dropped by the boss seem the key to beating this fight. They help in keeping the New Akasha Terminal charged which in turn allows the user to activate the various effects and even attack the boss. The leak also mentions being able to use the Four-Leaf Sigils in battle which makes us wonder if the boss fight will occur in the overworld or if Scaramouche’s domain itself will have this mechanism.
All in all, the boss fight seems packed with interesting strategies and mechanisms. Players can’t just take their strongest teams in for this one as they have to pay attention to their team comps and how each element’s user might help them in battle. We also still don’t know what element this boss wields. While most theories say he’ll be another electro boss, some leaks also say he could be wielding all elements. If so, Scaramouche might just turn out to be the most difficult boss in the game. We just have to wait and see until Version 3.2 drops on the 2nd of October, 2022.
