The deserts of Sumeru are heating up with all the hype and excitement from all the new Travelers after the Genshin Impact Version 3.1 update. Players have tons of new content to explore and experience and in this article, we’ll guide you on completing a time-gated world quest from Aaru Village- known simply as “The Exile: Sprouting”.
The Exile: Sprouting- 6 Days Time-Gated World Quest Guide in Genshin Impact 3.1
The Exile: Sprouting is a World Quest from Aaru village with a hidden sequel quest. In total, this is a 6-days time-gated world quest. Thus, you can only continue to the next part after every daily server reset.
Day 1- The Exile: Sprouting
To begin the quest, head to the Aaru Village Statue of the Seven and head west towards Sabbah. The quest marker should appear as simply a blue exclamation mark on the map. You’ll even notice it above Sabbah’s head. Once you reach close, the game will automatically cut to a cutscene, after which you have to perform Dendro attacks on all 3 Flower pots to rejuvenate them with Dendro. This completes “The Exile: Sprouting” quest
Day 2- The Flower: Blooming & A Gifted Rose: Prickly as Thorns
Do note that the quest marker on the map will not appear for Day 2. Teleport back to Aaru Village and follow these steps.
- Go to Sabbah again and talk to her to get the quest.
- Change the in-game time to the time required by the quest.
- Again strike the 3 Flower Pots with Dendro.
While this completes “The Flower: Blooming” quest, there is still a hidden sequel quest which you can get on Day 2 itself.
- Talk to Sabbah again and select “This is a Sumeru Rose that I picked” from the speech options and give her a Sumeru Rose from your inventory.
- Teleport to Aaru Village’s northern waypoint and head southeast to talk to Affan. His location should be marked on your mini-map as a quest marker.
- Teleport to Aaru Village’s northwestern waypoint and head west towards the location marked by the quest.
- Clear the Withering Zone in the location.
- Go back to Affan and talk to him to complete the “A Gifted Rose: Prickly as Thorns” quest.
Day 3- A Gifted Rose: Long Day Ahead
For Day 3, go back to Affan again and take his quest. Apply Hydro to all 3 Stone Flowers to complete the “A Gifted Rose: Long Day Ahead” quest.
Day 4- A Gifted Rose: Can Stones Bloom
Day 4 is again a repetition of Day 3’s routine. Go back to Affan and perform Hydro attacks on all 3 Stone Flowers to complete the “A Gifted Rose: Can Stones Bloom” quest.
Day 5- A Gifted Rose: Ballad of Days Gone By
Here are the steps to follow on Day 5:
- Go back and talk to Affan again.
- Teleport to Aaru Village and talk to Sabbah next.
- After that teleport back to the northern waypoint and go back to Affan again.
- Break the Stone Flowers using Blunt attacks from your sword. Do not use polearms, claymores or even charged attacks as they might fail.
- Use Dendro attacks on the respective spots after breaking the Stone Flowers.
- Talk to Affan again to complete the “A Gifted Rose: Ballad of Days Gone By” quest.
Day 6- A Gifted Rose: Some People Never Fade Away
On Day 6, go back to Affan’s location again and talk to Sabbah. Next, use Dendro attacks on all 3 sprouted plants to complete the “A Gifted Rose: Some People Never Fade Away” quest. There will be a cutscene of all the roses blooming and you will also get the “Engraved” hidden achievement.
Each day’s quest rewards you with 30-40 Primogems and it’s mostly dialogue. We recommend having a Hydro and a Dendro member in your party for convenience. The only fight sequence is in the Withering Zone on Day 2 so it’s casual world quest players can complete in 6 days’ time. Do remember to complete each day’s quest after every server reset.
