Genshin Impact Version 3.0 Special Program Livestream revealed a lot of details about the content we can expect in Sumeru other than just the new region and the new element- which is already a lot more than most of us can handle. Players can look forward to experiencing all these events once Version 3.0 drops on the 24th of August, 2022.
Version 3.0 Events Explained in Genshin Impact
Sumeru will have several local events catered to help travelers experience the Dendro element and explore the rainforests of Sumeru. The following are the events that were announced in the Version 3.0 Special Program Livestream.
Graven Innocence
This will be the main event of Version 3.0 Sumeru as it’ll involve giving inspiration to certain toymakers by clicking pictures of local Sumeru specialties which include Sumerian flowers, plants, and creatures. There’s even a parkour-like part where we have to use Dendro interactions to get ahead and clear the difficult and uncertain rainforest course. It will also involve clicking several Sumeru enemies and bosses by fighting them and clearing some conditions.
The best thing about this event is that it rewards Collei as a free character. After completing the event you can invite Collei into your team who’s a 4-star Dendro bow user releasing alongside Tighnari. This is a good way to start the update as it makes sure no one misses out on experiencing the Dendro element.
Fayz Trials
This is another combat event where players will have to fight groups of enemies under certain conditions and click pictures of their weak points before fighting and defeating them. This will be a new experience for the players as this is a combat event like no other and will also most likely involve Dendro enemies in its mix.
Tablet Analytics
This is another combat event involving special buffs and bonuses you can use before combat. This event seems focused on the Sumeru Talent Books which have the shape of tablets instead of the books we’re used to in Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma.
Lost Riches
This is a returning event and is famous for giving us a chance to obtain seelies. In Inazuma, we had a special purple seelie added to the list of rewards. In Sumeru, we can expect a dense green seelie corresponding to the rainforests of Sumeru. It’s to be noted however that players can only choose one seelie at the end of the event to have as their pet.
Ley Line Overflow
This is another rerun event that is much loved by players as it doubles the ley line rewards. Players will benefit from this event as it’ll help them gear up on enough Mora or Hero’s Wit EXP books to raise and level up their new Dendro units.
There are a few rerun events but the rest are all new events crafted to help us explore the regions of Sumeru, fight new Sumerian enemies, and gear us up for leveling up our new Dendro units.
