Genshin Impact Version 2.8 just dropped and players are happy to see a quality of life change in the Adventurer’s Handbook. For dedicated players who play diligently, the Adventurer’s Handbook has been a guide to us from the beginning to almost mid-game but once all the objectives have been completed, it’s a useless feature. Finally, with Version 2.8, Genshin Impact revived its Adventurer’s Handbook with two new tabs that offer some nifty features.
Latest Adventurer’s Handbook Changes in Genshin Impact
The Adventurer’s Handbook in Genshin Impact Version 2.8 added two new tabs, namely- Guide and Embattle. Both of them cater to the new player experience to make the game smoother to understand and play.
Guide
The Guide tab guides new players to various quests which they might not know where to get from. These are likely supposed to ensure that newer players don’t miss any of the in-game content and then be confused when newer events drop that reference these quests.
Embattle
The Embattle tab is full of rewards and mainly pertains to the character ascension system. It rewards you with artifact exp potion, 4-star artifacts, and Dust of Azoth for each completed objective. It essentially rewards players for completing their elemental reaction trials and ascending characters of different elements through their 4 Phases.
This is a welcome addition for newer and veteran players as it gives newbies lots of good 4-star artifacts for their units and for veteran players, all those artifacts and artifact exp potions serve as good artifact exp resource to level up their 5-star artifacts before Sumeru drops. With the players expecting the addition of the ten new artifact strongboxes to the Mystic Offering system in 3.0, they can finally breathe easy and farm the newer artifact domains from Inazuma, Chasm, and eventually Sumeru when it drops.
