Forza Horizon 4 is one of the widely played racing video games developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios. Players say the game is rewarding, gorgeous, and offers a self-renewing driving experience. However, like other massive titles, this game also has a few bugs and issues such as the game won’t launch, and crash at startup, among others.
In addition to these issues, many players are recently complaining that the game is crashing a lot and experiencing performance-related issues on their PCs. Furthermore, they encounter this issue at any point in time that means while loading or playing the race.
According to multiple reports, it has been noticed that the issue occurs especially after updating NVIDIA GPU and affects only on PC.
Players have already tried some generic workarounds to resolve this issue including reinstalling the game or closing the background apps but nothing helped.
Some other players have also tried lowering their settings and turning Bluetooth on but the game still crashes a lot after playing the game for an hour.
Thankfully, the Forza Support team has acknowledged this issue recently and provided a temporary solution which we have given below.
Temporary Workaround
As you can see in the above link, the Forza Support team has provided a temporary solution until they release a patch fixing this problem. When you experience a crashing issue on your PC after the NVIDIA GPU driver update, then download the install the driver version 522.25 from the official Nvidia website.
Hopefully, this method will resolve the matter and you will be able to enjoy Forza Horizon 4 flawlessly.
