Fix 1: Verify Integrity of Game Files
As this error mainly correlates to the improper installation of the game, checking that the files of the game are not corrupted and installed as intended, you should check the game integrity. Thankfully, on Steam you can do this very easily. Follow the steps to check the integrity of the game files on Steam.
- Launch Steam, go to XCOM Chimera Squad and right-click to open a menu.
- Click on Properties.
- From the taps, click on Local Files.
- Click on Verify integrity of game files.
- Let the process complete and run the game to see if the red screen error is fixed.
Fix 2: Reinstall the Game
If the XCOM Chimera Squad Red Screen Error still appears you should reinstall the game. It will definitely fix the error. Given the moderate size of the game, it should not be an issue. Simply uninstall the game and reinstall it and the problem should be resolved.
