The Warzone error code 47 is also related to the corruption of data. As such, there are simple solutions for both the Xbox and PlayStation devices. Here is what you need to do.
Completely reinstalling the game on both Xbox Series X|S and PS5 is the most effective fix for the error code 47. But, if you are on the PS5, there is another way to fix the corruption of Warzone files without reinstalling the game. Unfortunately, Xbox users do not have the same luxury.
Fix Warzone Error Code 47 on PS5
To fix the error on PS5, you need to first Rebuild Database and then, clear the Warzone save date. This fix has been reported to work for several players, so you can give it a try before you decide to reinstall the game. Here is how to replicate the fix.
- Turn off the console normally and launch it in Safe Mode (hold the power button until you hear the beep sound to start in safe mode)
- Once the console starts in Safe Mode, choose ‘Rebuild Database’
- Allow for the process to complete
- Start the console normally and try to run Warzone. If you still run into the error, follow the rest of the process.
- Go to System Storage > Saved Data > Warzone
- Date all the Saved Data for Warzone
- Reboot the PS5.
Once you complete the above steps, the game should run without the error, but if the Warzone Error Code 47 still occurs, you will have to reinstall the game.
