Warzone Pacific is going through a range of issues and errors including the texture problem for console players and the Goldflake error. But, there are minor issues that affect a small number of users such as the Warzone Pacific controller disconnected bug. The bug occurs when you disconnect the controller and get the message controller disconnected, but there is no way to close the error and it’s stuck on the screen. Some users have also reported that the controller gets disconnected automatically and won’t connect. If you have run into the issue it has a very simple fix, keep reading to find out.
Warzone Pacific Controller Disconnected Bug Fix
Whether you have disconnected the controller accidentally or it disconnected due to the bug, the fix is the same. For some reason, the game disconnects the controller auto and you cannot connect back once it’s disconnected, either auto or manual. To fix the Warzone controller disconnected bug, you simply need to reboot the game. A simple reboot will sync the controller back and you should be able to play.
Raven is aware of the bug and actively looking for a fix as stated in the Trello Board for the game. When you choose to completely reboot the game to fix the bug ensure that the controller is connected at the time.
We do not have confirmation if the issue also affects players on PC, but console players have it specifically Xbox users. It can be frustrating, but the bug mostly arises when you have disconnected the controller by accident mid-match. There are very few reports when the controller disconnected itself. So, it should not be much of a problem unless you disconnect the controller while the match is on.
We will keep this post updated as Raven reveals more info about the issue or releases a fix. In other news, there is an AC Valhalla content reveal event planned for tomorrow, Raven has reduced Bloom for weapons in Warzone and Vanguard, and Genshin Impact has a new weapon.
My controller just goes unresponsive mid match on warzone only and the home button doesnt even work…if i remove batteries and reinstall it starts working again then randomly unresponsive again multiple times ive tried different controller and also a wired controller and still have the same issue.PLZ HELP
Just to point out, the controller disconnect happens on its own mud game and ONLY in COD, especially PACIFIC. No accidental disconnects on my end. It just stops working but you can still hit the hone button and close the game. Super annoying.
